*When William Valentine Floyd was born on May 19, 1869, in Arkansas, his father, James, was 22 and his mother, Eliza, was 20. He married Mary Ophelia Stewart on August 12, 1895. They had five children in 12 years. He died on May 23, 1920, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 51, and was buried there. (Death by suicide)
