Rev. Garfield Franklin Foster of Pangburn, Arkansas died Monday, July 20, 2015. Rev. Foster was 80 years old. He was the son of the late Shepherd Harrison Foster and Fannie May Foster. Rev. Foster was founder and owner of Foster’s Upholstery for 47 years. He was also pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church for 30 years.
Rev. Foster is survived by his wife: Shirley McClendon Foster, 4 sons: Roger Foster and his wife: Vicki, David Foster and his wife: Helena, Charles Foster and his wife: Asha, and James Foster and his wife: Shannon; 2 daughters: Rebecca Foster Duran and her husband: Danny, and Penny Foster Ramer, 22 precious grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son: Ricky Ray Foster, 1 son-in-law: Harold Ramer, 2 brothers: Spurgeon Foster and Johnny Foster, and 5 sisters: Esther Jenkins, Clara Keller, Viola Harris, Maybelle Tucker and Vickie Johnson.
Funeral services for Rev. Foster was held at Roller-Daniel the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday morning July 23, 2015. He was laid to rest at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
