Kathleen Wallace Rongey, 79, of Conway, formerly of Searcy, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born Saturday, July 8, 1933 in Sidon, Arkansas to the late Harvey and Belma Price Wallace.
Mrs. Rongey was a retired manager of a retail clothing store and a member of West Race Baptist Church of Searcy. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, cooking, gardening and especially loved spending time with her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Foster; brother, Johnny Wallace; sister, Wanda Fulmer; and grandson, Andrew Foster.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Steve Foster (Donna) of Searcy; daughters, Susan McSpadden (Bruce) of Conway, Sharon Lercher of Searcy and Sandy Lea of Bald Knob; sisters, Deanna Hackler of Dallas, Texas and Sue Stracener of Searcy; brothers, Gerald Wallace of Searcy, Jimmy Wallace of Austin, Texas and Greg Wallace of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Shannon Holeyfield, Stacie Corbitt, Summer Mabry, Jonathan McSpadden, Mallory McSpadden, Laura Freppon, Robert Lercher and Jennifer Roberson; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 31, 2013, 2:00-4:00pm, in the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel (501)268-3546. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 1, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Greg Wallace and Mr. Danny Hardin officiating. Interment will follow in the Foster Chapel Cemetery.
