Margaret Post Carroll Rodgers went to meet her Lord, Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, in Alma. She was 86 years and 4 months of age. Her birthplace was Mound City, Kan. She was one of six children born to Claude and Helen Ann Post. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jerome Carroll and Hall Rodgers. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Van Buren and a lifetime member of the Library Friends in Bull Shoals. She is survived by her son, Franklin Carroll and wife Margaret; two grandsons, Jerome (Jerry) Carroll and Phillip Carroll; one granddaughter, Eilaine Day; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Querry of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews. Rosary will be 7 p.m. today with visitation to follow from 8 to 9 p.m. at Edwards-Van Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Van Buren with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
