Mr. Eugene N. Rodgers of Alma, Arkansas, died Thursday, 10-04-2007, in Van Buren. Mr. Rodgers was 90 years, 5 months, and 10 days old. He was a retired mechanic at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas; a member of the Church of God Seventh Day Adventist; and a lifelong member of teh VFW-Van Buren Chapter.
Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his parents and his 1st and 2nd wives: Vera Lee Rodgers and Violet Rodgers.
He is survived by a son: Don Rodgers, of Alma, Arkansas; a brother: Jesse Rodgers, of Rudy, Arkansas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-daughters: Dar-Lene Ewbands, of Anderson, Missouri, and Donna Clark, of Texas; other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held at the Antioch Cemetery in Van Buren, Arkansas.
