*pGeorge Leonard Parker was born on September 30, 1926, in Steprock, Arkansas, his father, James Gordon was 26, and his mother, Ella was 25. He married Wilma Geneva Duncan on April 6, 1946. They had one child Janie Louise Parker during their marriage. Leonard and Wilma were divorced about March 1949. He was married to Emogene (Derrick) Parker at the time of his death. They were married sometime around May or June of 1952. He died as a young father on March 25, 1953, in Marshall, Arkansas, at the age of 26./p

Jerry Dean "Did" Parker went home to be with the Lord on February 28th, 2022 at the age of 84.

He was born to Gordon Parker and Ella Bellamy Parker on November 28th, 1937 in Shirley, Arkansas. He moved to Conway, Arkansas in his elementary school years and later moved to Greenbrier, Arkansas where he resided for the remainder of his life.

He was a loving and dedicated Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather and was affectionately known to many as "Pop". He loved and adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and cherished spending time with them.

He was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He was a devoted member of LifeSong Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas.

He graduated from Conway High School in Conway in 1956. After he graduated high school he joined the Air Force. He was proud to be a United States Veteran. After he completed his service in the Air Force he worked as a welder for 10 years before going into construction where he spent the remainder of his working career. He retired at 81 years of age.

He had many hobbies which included hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He spent most of his time working or reading his Bible. He also had a love for chickens, mules, and dancing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Parker and Ella Bellamy Parker; his brothers Willie, Leemon, Leonard, J.D., Ray, Jackie, and Cotton Parker; and his great-granddaughter Amelia Crenshaw.

He is survived by his brother, Paul Parker and wife Betty of Alma; his sister Imogene Reynolds of Conway; his son Jerry "Bubba" Parker and wife Christy of Greenbrier; his son Derek Parker and wife Jenny of Benton; his daughter Cena Vaden and husband Shane of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and special friend of 29 years Jody Jordan of Benton.

He is survived by 9 grandchildren: Cole Parker and wife Chantay of Conway; Jessi Parker of Greenbrier; Jeremy Parker of Greenbrier; Monroe Parker of Benton; Taylor Vaden of Dallas, Texas; Walker Vaden of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Mike Bowen and wife Ashley of Greenbrier; Heather Sears and husband Dylan of Greenbrier; and Eli Crenshaw and wife Chelsea of Greenbrier.

He is survived by 13 great-grandchildren: Dax Vaden, Blayne Holdorf, Camden Tackett, Jacob Tackett, Charli Small, Aaron Sears, Maggie Sears, Aubrey Sears, Wyatt Sears, Rylee Bowen, Austin Bowen, Abi Crenshaw, and Raylan Crenshaw.

He is also survived by numerous other family members including cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 4th, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at LifeSong Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. The funeral will be officiated by Freddie Mark Wilcox and Paul Parker.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Cole Parker, Jeremy Parker, Sam Holmes, Eli Crenshaw, Dylan Sears, and Mike Bowen.

Flowers may be sent to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
