Betty Jo Nunn Moore, daughter of Joseph Foy Nunn and Katie Carie Coy Russell Nunn was born February 27, 1937, in Danville, and died at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Russellville, on January 24, 2021.

Betty was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University and worked for the U. S. Forest Service in Russellville until retirement. She was a member of Russellville First United Methodist Church, Church Chancel Choir, and a volunteer at Manna House for many years. She received a lifetime membership pin for service in United Methodist Women, and a 50-year pin for service in PEO. Betty loved to play bridge with the bridge clubs she and her husband were members of. She dearly loved her long relationship with the bridge ladies in the lady’s clubs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marilyn Jones of Russellville.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Moore, of the home; and son, Rob Moore, of West Palm Beach, Florida; sister, Katherine Bowden, of Russellville; brother, James Nunn of Camano Island, Washington; brother-in-law, Joe Jones, of Russellville; two nieces and six nephews that she loved dearly; and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2021, at McFadden Cemetery, in Dover, with the Dr. Tony Griffin officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
