March 16, 1931 - February 2, 2019
Giles Osborne, 87, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at a local hospital.
He was born March 16, 1931 in Springfield, MO to the late William and Adell (Tye) Osborne.
He was a maintenance mechanic for Dixie Cup for 43 years, a member of Masonic Lodge Fine Springs #439, a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Alma and enjoyed golf.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, 2 sons, 3 brothers and a sister.
Survivors include; 2 sisters, Helen Wilson of Alma, AR and Sue Smith of Rudy, AR; a brother, Jerry Osborne of Alma, AR; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jody Gregory, Creed Gregory, Colton Gregory, Kevin Cluck, Isaiah Haynes, Dale Osborne and Rick Wilson.
Services will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Newberry Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Don Osborne, Eddie Smith, Ronnie Morton, Chester Fisher and the guys from A-Z.
Nebra
March 8, 1931 - December 12, 2014
Nedra B. Osborne, 83, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was born March 9, 1931 in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Otis and Fannie (Moon) Hunter.
She owned and operated Nedra's Dress Shop in downtown Alma for many years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Alma for 57 years.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Joe Don Gregory, one daughter, Carla Baker and one brother, O. B. Hunter.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, December 15, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Newberry Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Giles Osborne of the home; one son, Keith Osborne of Owasso, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jody Gregory, Creed Gregory, Colton Gregory, Kevin Cluck, Dale Osborne and Eddie Dale Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Don Osborne, Mike Wilson, Rick Wilson and Issiah Haynes.
