Husband of Maggie An Brewer Coatney
Funeral service for Calvin R. Coatney, 84 years old of Greenwood, native of Crawford County, was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ocker Memorial Chapel Rev. Steward Albert Rozell officiated. Burial was in Newberry cemetery , north of Alma, Arkansas.
A native of Rudy, Arkansas, he was born December 13, 1892 to Elbert T. and Susie Crabtree Coatney, was a Methodist, a veteran of World War I and a retired factory worker. Mr. Coatney died Monday, November 21, 1977 in a Fort Smith Hospital.
Survivors are a son; a half-sister; two half-brothers; and two grandchildren.
