Jerome Joseph Stanek, 77, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed peacefully Thursday, May 1, 2014. He was born December 27, 1936 in Walt Hill, Nebraska to the late George and Alice (Davis) Stanek. Jerome is preceded in death by his parents; wife Rita Stanek, brother Jim Stanek and sister Kathy Walters. He is survived by his sons Jerome Joseph Stanek, Jr., Dennis James Stanek (Laurel) and Bruce Edward Stanek; daughter Julie Ann Stanek; brother Tom Stanek (Barb), sister Georgia Lahay (Steve) and grandchildren Camille and Alexandra. Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation at www.pdf.org.
