Husband of Hattie Marie Scott Thomason Bassham
Rolland R. Scott, 96, of Rt.2, Mountainburg, Arkansas, departed this life on January 20, 1981 at Oaks Lodge Nursing Home in Fort Smith.
He was born October 26, 1884 in Wilson, Kansas to Winfield and Leah Thrapp Scott.
He was a retired farmer.
He was the widower of Cora Constance Moyer Scott and Hettie Marie Thomason Bassham Scott.
Funeral services were held at Ocker Chapel in Van Buren with Rev. H.D. Shipley officiating.
Burial was at Vaught Cemetery.
ADDITION: Mr. Scott's first wife was Ellen Victoria Carlstedt who died at about the age of 40 in Denver, Colorado. She and Mr. Scott had five sons, Russell Rolland Scott, Charles Marion "Scotty" Scott, Leonard S. Scott, and Gordon Allen "Scotty" Scott. They and their wives are now deceased. Rollie and Ellen Victoria's fifth son Dale Scott and his wife Shirley live in Littleton, Colorado. This addition was added on April 09, 2010.
Grand-daughter of Cora Constance Moyer Mertel (who was Rolland "Rolllie" Reed Scott's second wife).
