FROM THE “CRAWFORD COUNTY COURIER” Van Buren, Arkansas’s local Newspaper. Dated: September 29, 1983.
FRANCES SCOTT
Funeral services for Frances Elizabeth Scott, 77, of Drennen Reserve, Van Buren, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church at Van Buren with Father Christoph Keller III officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Scott, who died Sunday at a Van Buren hospital, was a life-long resident of Van Buren, and was a retired employee of the Fort Smith Gas Company and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a descendant of the John Drennen family, a pioneer Van Buren family.
She is survived by a sister, a niece and two nephews.
