January 12, 1953 - October 20, 2019
Jerry Lamar Miller, 66, went home to be with the Lord October 20, 2019. He was born in El Dorado, AR to the late Grady Miller, Sr. and the late Onedia Blake.
He graduated from El Dorado High School, and he attended Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock.
He accepted Christ at an early age, and he sang in the choir and united with First Saint James Missionary Baptist Church where Reverend L. D. Champion was pastor.
He was employed by Paper Bag for several years, and he was a truck driver for J. B. Hunt and various other trucking companies.
He was a joy to be around, and he had ways of saying and doing things to make others laugh in practically any situation.
Preceding him in death are his parents; three brothers: Grady Miller, Jr., James Miller, and Eddie C. Miller; two sisters: Mattie Miller and Alice Richards; and one daughter: Maria Miller.
He is survived by his five sons: Seneca Miller, Dominic Miller, and Chasmun Miller of El Dorado, AR, Jonathan Miller (Michelle) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Jerry Miller, of Austin, TX; one daughter: Tareva Miller, El Dorado; two brothers: Felton Miller (Rivers), El Dorado, and Garland Miller, Pacifica, CA; two sisters: Mary Ann Woods LeBlanc, Alameda, CA, and Linda Cegers, Pine Bluff, AR; 20 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other family, and lifelong friends.
