Kenneth Dobbins Cofer, age 77 of Searcy, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born August 23, 1941 in Searcy to Wilson and Frances Cofer. He was a dairy farmer and a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Searcy. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jane Cofer; two daughters, Carol Bradford and husband Matt of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Susan Fell and husband Rob of Yukon, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Connor Smith of Yukon, Brooks and Cade Bradford of Chattanooga; three brothers, Larry Cofer and wife Elsie Mae of Ottumwa, Iowa, Bobby Cofer and wife Danna of Searcy, Terry Cofer and wife Tami of Searcy; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charles E. Cofer.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Searcy with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Searcy or to the Humane Society of Searcy.
