Alice Marie ‘Ree' Wilson, age 91, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 17, 2007. She was born Saturday, May 27, 1916 in Center Hill, Arkansas to H.I. ‘Hoke' and Mattie Starr Miles.
She is survived by one son Homer Wilson and wife Margie of Searcy; five grandsons Bruce Wilson and wife Margaret of Benton, Jim Gilliam and wife Theresa of McRae, Scott Wilson and wife Rachel of Searcy, L.V. Wilson and wife Melissa of Searcy, and Mike Wilson of Searcy; two granddaughters Susie Rebman and husband Donnie of Benton and Nancee Roberson of Edmond, Oklahoma; nine great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; two sisters-in-law Avanell Miles of Searcy and Lawanna Miles of Las Vegas, Nevada along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Jack Wilson; one daughter Wanda Jean Wilson; her parents; one sister Sallie Ruth Langford; and two brothers R.H. ‘Red' Miles and Vernon Miles.
She was a member of the Center Hill Missionary Baptist Church and her children, grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following at Honey Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2007 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
