Mrs. Lucy Ola Andrews, 80, of Rt. 1, El Dorado, died Friday morning at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1887, in Union County, the daughter of B. L. and Betty Combs Daniel. She was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, T. A. Andrews; two sons, Leonard Andrews of New Orleans, La., and Tommy L. Andrews of Gary, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Lewis of Luling, La., Mrs. Gladys Hall of Nederland, Tex., Mrs. Idell Evers of El Dorado; two brothers, Frank Daniel and Morgan Daniel, both of El Dorado; a sister, Mrs. Lula Andrews of Luling, La.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wyatt Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie LaBeff officiating. Burial will be in the Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. The body was taken to the family home on Friday afternoon. (El Dorado Times - December 23, 1967)
