Lendell Leon Oxford, 75, of Paris, Arkansas, died Monday, November 19, 2007, in Paris, Arkansas.
He was born May 24, 1932, in Russellville, Arkansas to Otis and Elma Faye (Sullivan) Oxford now both deceased.
He retired as owner and operator of Leon's Grocery Store in Paris, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee (Lovelace) Oxford; two daughters, Linda Gail Nichols and Julia Mae Cox; four sons, Lendell Leon Oxford, Jr, Carson William Watts, George William Watts, and Jeffery Allen Watts; sister, Wanda Mullins; 17 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service were held in the Roller Chapel-Paris with burial in the McVay Cemetery-Paris.

Virginia Lee Oxford of Paris(Logan County), Arkansas, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Fort Smith(Sebastian County), Arkansas. She was 67 years old. Ms. Oxford was born in 1941 in Paris, Arkansas. She was the owner of Leon's Grocery Store in Paris, Arkansas. Ms. Oxford was a member of the Full Gospel Mission Church.
Ms. Oxford was preceded in death by her first husband, George Watts and her second husband, Lendell Oxford.
She is survived by two daughters: Judy Cox of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Linda Nichols of Charleston, Arkansas; four sons: Lendel Leon Oxford Jr., of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Bill and Jeffrey Watts, both of Booneville, Arkansas, and William Watts of Paris, Arkansas; her mother: Lilly Lovelace of Paris; four sisters: Sue Pearson,Mary Riley and Tammy Willmann, all of Paris, Arkansas, and Imogene Moffet of Magazine, Arkansas; one brother: Cecil Lovelace of Paris, Arkansas; 20 wonderful grandchildren; and 11 precious great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Roller Funeral Home in Paris, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Marvin, Jim, Tim, and Mike Moffet, Tommy Furstenburg, and Chuck Parsons.
Honorary pallbearers were: Richard, Ricky and Steve Moffet.
