Dessie Oxford, 95 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 in Fort Smith. She was born on November 12, 1923 in Russellville, Arkansas to her parents Emmitt E. and Nellie Mae (Eakes) Mars. She was a homemaker who loved embroidery, reading her bible, watching cardinals in her yard and was long time member of First Assembly of God Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt E. and Nellie Mae (Eakes) Mars; her husband, George Odell Oxford and her daughter, Charlotte Oxford.
She is survived by her daughters, LaDonna Holman of Ada, Oklahoma and Misty Barnett of Paris, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tammy Snow, Gary Koch, Larry Koch, Leslie Koch, Makayla Barnett and Makenzie Barnett; ten great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tammy Snow, Larry Koch, Gary Koch, David Snow, Louis Koch and Ben Trusty.
