Monday, September 22, 1957
David W. Cantrell, 67, died at his home in Winslow Sunday morning. Born March 11, 1890 in Barnhill, Ill., he was a retired farmer, a member of the Church of Christ, and had lived in Winslow 11 years, moving there from Johnson, Kan.
Survivors are his wife, Daisy, of the home; one son, David W. Cantrell, Jr., Fort Worth, Texas; six daughters, Thelma Fay, Lorene, Mildred, Cleta, Mary, and Mabel Gladys; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Files, Barnhill, Ill., and Miss Edith Cantrell, Fort Collins, Colo.; one brother, Cecil Cantrell, Fort Collins, Colo.
Funeral services will he conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., at the Church of Christ in Winslow. Burial, under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home, will he in the Brentwood cemetery.
