He was a retired farmer, a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church and a veteran of the Air Force. Services will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Annie Pauline Gill Boyd, 71 of Star City, died Friday at her home. She was born May 15, 1942 in Clark County to the late Leard and Fannie Gill. She was retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal Chemo-Bio Mask Line. Also preceding her in death was 2 brothers, Arnold "Pete" Gill and Hollis Gill. Survivors include her husband, R.L. Boyd; 2 sons, Ray Dean Boyd and Dale Lynn Boyd, all of Star City; 2 daughters, Shannon (Scottie) Moreland of Dumas and Dawn Boyd(Mark Curry)of Rye; 1 sister, Lois Haynes of Star City and 3 grandchildren. Funeral Services are 10:00AM Monday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jim Babcock officiating. Visitation is 4:00-6:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Gill, Newell Gill, Butch Judd, Thomas Fish, Chester Haynes and Eugene Rice. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
