**Obituary
Grover William "Duke" Boyd, 83 of Star City died Thursday at his home. He was born April 16, 1929 in Star City to the late John Leander and Lissie Beth Carr Boyd. He was a truck driver and a house mover. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Mack, R.V. and J.C and 1 sister; Erma Farmer. Survivors include his wife; Geraldine Muckleroy Boyd of Star City, 2 daughters; Rita Boyd of Eunice, LA and Donna Taylor of Star City, 1 sister; Mildred McGee of Star City, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Graveside Services are 11:00AM Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yorktown. Bro. John Brown will officiate. Visitation will be 9:00-10:30AM Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
