*When Carrol Boyd "Dink" Armstrong was born on June 30, 1855, in White, Arkansas, his father, Jacob, was 39 and his mother, Susan, was 38. He married Ida C Montgomery on September 17, 1890. They had five children in 20 years. He died on October 10, 1928, at the age of 73, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
