Ernest Standley, 74, of Fayetteville died Tuesday in a local hospital. Born June 21, 1909, at Marble City, Okla., the son of A. B. and Lula White Standley, he was an appraiser with the Veterans Administration and retired from the automobile business in which he had been associated for a number of years. He lived most of his life in this area and was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Juanita Land Standley of the home; a son, David Standley of Tulsa, Okla., a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Heasty of Carrollton, Texas; a sister, Miss Lurlie Standley of La Jolla, Calif. and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will he at 10 a.m. Friday at Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Central United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or the Bicentennial Pension Fund.
