Walter Guy Standley, 69, of Galena, Kan., died Saturday in a Baxter Springs, Kan., hospital. Born May 21, 1903 in Brentwood, the son of Roy B. and Nellie Hutchens Standley, he was a retired railroad employee and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Mary Dillard Standley of the home; three sons, Leonard of Los Angeles, Calif., Jerry of Washington and Harold of the home; three daughters, Mrs. June Jenkins and Mrs. Ruby Crowell both of Galena and Mrs. Betty Kirk of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Aultia of Brentwood; four sisters, Mrs. Mittie Jones of Fayetteville, Mrs. Opal Ferguson, Mrs. Ora Lewis and Mrs. Mildred Torix all of Galena; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will he at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Brentwood Church with burial in Brentwood Cemetery under direction of the Watson Mortuary.

Mrs. Mary Standley, 69, of Galena, Kansas died today in a Joplin, Mo. hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1904 in Lebanon, Tenn.

She is survived by three sons, Leonard of Los Angeles, Calif., Jerry of Washington state, and Harold of the home: three daughters, Mrs. June Jenkins and Mrs. Ruby Crowell of Galena and Mrs. Betty Kirk of Joplin; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Robertson of Sapulpa, Okla.; two brothers, Ed Dillard of West Fork and Jim Dillard of Mountain View, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will he Monday at 2 p.m. at the Brentwood Church with burial in Brentwood Cemetery, with local arrangements by Watson Mortuary.
