BENTONVILLE — Mary Jane Jarecki, 82, of Bentonville died April 4, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. She was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Pea Ridge to Christopher Columbus and Nellie Mae Bolain Young. She returned to the area in 1967 from California. She was employed by Union Carbide, retiring after 17 years as an inspector. She enjoyed sewing and painting. She was active in the Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence Casey and Renaldo Jarecki.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Hall and Lynn Murphy, both of Bentonville; one son, Mark Jarecki of Rogers; one sister, Alta Mae Dill of Bentonville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday at Pea Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Nichols officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 S. Dixieland Road, Rogers, 72758.
