Sam Davis Casey, 74, Siloam Springs, died June 2 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 8, 1900 at Boxley, he was the son of Alec and Mirandy Brooks Casey, and a member of the Methodist Church. He formerly owned Sisco Drug Store in Siloam Springs, was graduated from University of Missouri School of Pharmacy and was recently recognized as a 50-year alumnus of the school.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lavina Casey of the home; one daughter, Mrs. E.E. Thompson, Pine Bluff; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at 4 p.m. in Pyeatte Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Merle A. Johnson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Pyeatte.

Lavina Cathrine Casey, 78, of Siloam Springs, died Friday evening at Siloam Springs. She was born Nov. 1, 1901, at Dover.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church there.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. E.E. Thompson of Pine Bluff; one sister, Mrs. E.C. Fox of Russellville; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs. Pastor Harold Eggenburger will officiate.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, under the direction Pyeatte Funeral Home.
