SPRINGDALE — Freda Norene Mason, 76, of Springdale died May 15, 2002, at her home. She was born June 7, 1925, in Johnson to Earl J. and Edith Viola Maxey Mason. She was a nurse's aide at Springdale Memorial Hospital and was one of the original employees. She was a member of Pleasant Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Derrell and Janette Mason of Lowell; one sister, Genevee Hicks of Rogers; two nieces, Minday Norman and Melissa Mason.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with Larry Branum officiating. Burial will be in Stuckey Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present.
