Dennis Elwin Mason

TONTITOWN — Dennis Elwin Mason, 54, left this life on the wings of Angels from his home in Tontitown. He was born March 12, 1958, in Wichita, Kan., to Hollie and Carmen Collins Mason.

Dennis enjoyed drawing, singing and working with his hands. He loved to help others but most of all he loved the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Mason; one brother. J. R. Stadter, and one sister, Linda Darlene Mason.

He is survived by his father, Hollie Mason of Tontitown; one brother, Donnie Stadter and wife, Glenda, of Derby. Kan.; three sisters, Sue Taylor and husband, Mark, of Neosho, Mo., Brenda Shatzer and husband, James, of Springdale, and Holly White and husband, Dana, of Springdale; and his special caregiver, Carley. He leaves lots of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Paul Eden officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 6101 Highway 271 South, Fort Smith, AR 72908.
