William Palmer, 79 of Lamar, passed away Monday August 31, 2015 in Clarksville. Mr. Palmer was born September 14, 1935 in Lamar to David Clinton and Mary (Sams) Palmer. William was a true gentleman, one who never met a stranger, he enjoyed mechanic work, yardwork, but most of all telling stories.

Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Faye Palmer; one son, Billy Ray Palmer; three brothers, Warren, Henry, and George Palmer; and three sisters, Hannah Hutchins, Clara Wilson, and Patsy Jane Palmer.

Mr. Palmer is survived by two daughters; Linda and Dale Freeman of Lamar, and Betty and Leonard Marlow of Lamar; three sons, Willie and Cheryl Palmer of Salus, Jamie and Wendy Palmer of Lamar, and Michael and Faye Palmer of Hunt; four sisters, Alice Harmon of Lamar, Maude and Larry Holman of Clarksville, Mary and Jim Hale of Hartman, and Joyce Smith of Clarksville; one brother, David Palmer of Lamar; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Palmer will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday September 2, 2015 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Geno Johnston officiating.

Burial will follow in the Holman Cemetery with Michael Palmer Jr., Trevor Palmer, Jeffery Palmer, Jason Palmer, Jeremy Palmer, and Robert Marlow serving as pallbearers, and all his nephews serving as honorary pallbearers.

Wanda Faye Palmer, 75, of Lamar, passed away Wednesday August 5, 2015 in Lamar.

She was born January 15, 1940 in Lamar to Mr. Jim and Edna (Pierce) Hale.

Mrs. Palmer enjoyed sewing, flowers, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Palmer is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother Clifford Hale

Mrs. Palmer is survived by her husband of 57 years William Palmer; four sons, Willie and Cheryl Palmer, Jamie and Wendy Palmer, Michael and Faye Palmer, and Billy Ray Palmer; two daughters, Linda and Dale Freeman, and Betty and Leonard Marlow; 19 grandchildren; 26-grandchildren; four sisters Velma and Bill Linam, Evetta Young, Nona and Charles Davis, and Ellen and Kenny Dougan; one brother Jim and Mary Hale; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation for Mrs. Palmer will be6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday August 7, 2015 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 8, 2015 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Geno Johnston officiating.

Burial will follow in the Holman Cemetery with Michael Palmer Jr., Trevor Palmer, Jeffrey Palmer, Jeremy Palmer, Jason Palmer, and Robert Marlow serving as pallbearers, and Jeff Hale, Steve Hale, Gerald Palmer, Jim Hale, and her Grandsons and Nephews serving as honorary pallbearers.

Billy Ray Palmer, 40 of Lamar, passed away Saturday August 8, 2015 in Little Rock. He was born March 10, 1975 in Clarksville to Mr. William and Wanda (Hale) Palmer. Billy enjoyed being outdoors, doing mechanic work, and swimming. Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Palmer is survived by his father, William Palmer; three daughters, Sharla Burgess, Roxy Burgess, and Rena Palmer; one son, Trevor Palmer, two sisters, Linda and Dale Freeman, and Betty and Leonard Marlow; three brothers, Willie and Cheryl Palmer, Jamie and Wendy Palmer, and Michael and Faye Palmer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will hold a memorial service at 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 22, 2015, at the Holman Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
