Randall Amos Smith was born March 27, 1927 in Roseville, Ohio to Carl and Sylvia (Smith) Smith, and went home to be with His Lord on January 18, 2019 in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 91. Randall served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. A member of the Christian Life Center. Randall loved his country and loved to work, from owning his own gas station to even being a custodian at the age of 80. When not at work he loved to keep the garden and cook with his wife of 71 years. Randall loved his family and friends, and found time to relax by sitting on the porch swing watching the garden grow and cars passing by.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sylvia Smith; two sisters: Eva Brown and Trudy Coates; two brothers: Carl Smith Jr., and Melvin Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Janet (Gerbhart) Smith of Clarksville; a son, Randy(Cheryl) Smith of Lamar, two daughters: Sharon (Larry) Farris of Clarksville, Elaine (Terry) Sanderson of Knoxville, ; three grandsons: Larry (Kristy) Farris, Joshua (Stacey) Smith, and Matthew Sanderson; three granddaughters: Angela Kirk, Erica (Seth)Houghton, and Sarah (Jared) Martin; six great grandchildren: Morgan Farris, Brandon Farris, Landon Kirk, Abigail Smith, Connor Houghton, and Gage Martin; a host of other family and friends.
