Dannie Lee Davis, 55, of Knoxville, Ark., died July 20, 2002, at the Johnson Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
Born in Sikeston, Mo., son of the late George Cecil and Ocie Marie Holt Davis, he graduated from Sikeston High School and was a member of Knoxville Masonic Lodge 370, the London Masonic Lodge and Knoxville First Baptist Church. He served with the U.S. Air Force 377 SPS Unit during the Vietnam War and was employed by the LTV Aero Space in Grand Prairie, Texas, for 27 years before retiring.
His wife, Jean Davis, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Cheryl Mize; one son, Dannie Davis Jr.; two sisters, Jackie Powell, and Betty King; two brothers, Ralph Davis and Bill Davis; and three grandchildren.
Services were conducted at the Knoxville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Snyder officiating.

Masonic graveside rites were conducted at the Knoxville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: John Tyson, Jodie Storms, Carl Collins, Glen Rainey, Billy Bush, Kenneth Cash, Glen Hickey and Doc Ramsey.
Hardwicke Funeral Home of Knoxville was in charge of arrangements.

Maudie Jean Davis was born January 20, 1946 in Tarrant County, Texas to Benjamin Johnson and Maudie Jewell Reynolds Steel. She passed away on April 10, 2019 in Knoxville, Arkansas at the age of 73. She was retired from Sara Lee Hosiery and a member of First Baptist Church in Knoxville, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dannie Lee Davis.

She is survived by her sons; Daniel Goains; Dannie Davis and wife, Cindy of Louisiana; her daughters, Cheryl and husband, Mitchell Webb of Knoxville, Arkansas; her brother, James Steel of Fort Worth, Texas; her sister, Janet Moon of Gilmer, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Knoxville, Arkansas with Brother Richard Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Mrs. Davis's grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are Janet Williams and Shirley Davis.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice at 3801 West Main, Suite A in Russellville, Arkansas 72801, American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, or Dementia Research.
