When Fannie Loten Minton was born on March 19, 1891, in Montgomery, Arkansas, her father, Charles, was 44, and her mother, Louise, was 43. She married James Benjamin Lassetter and they had one daughter together. She then married Milton Ratliff on October 19, 1909, in Garland, Arkansas. She died on January 28, 1940, in Van Buren, Arkansas, at the age of 48, and was buried in Conway, Arkansas.
