John Adam Hawkins, age 20, of Morrilton passed away Thursday, May 08, 2014. Adam was born January 1, 1994, a son of the late John Robert Hawkins and Kelly Adams Sims. Adam was a student at UACCM, of the Methodist faith and enjoyed his time outdoors with his friends, and spending time with his son, Heath.
Survivors include his mother, Kelly, sisters Kathryn Anne Hawkins of Morrilton and Dusti Sims of Springfield; brothers Travas (Tina) Givens of Perryville and Jackson Sims of Springfield; son John Heath Hawkins of Plumerville; girlfriend Maddie Lane of Plumerville; uncles Bruce (Phyllis) Hawkins of Morrilton and Kevin Adams of Tulsa, Ok; aunt Kaye (Neal) Anderson of Lonoke; grandparents Butch and Susan Adams of Morrilton; cousins Jamie (Elizabeth) Anderson, Clayton (Ashley) Hawkins, Katie (Scott) Siever, nephews David Aaron Givens, Tucker Carden, Tyler Givens, and Trace John Carter Givens. Adam is also survived by a host of loving friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Hawkins, and his grandparents Marlin and Marvine Hawkins.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Morrilton with Rev. Todd-Paul Taulbee officiating. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11th at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Shelby Lewis, Devin Duncan, Cody Andrews, Shane Bradshaw, Kyle Rohlman, Colton Cooksey, Zach Bryant, and Tyler Cahill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Hill and Danny Neighbors.
