Paul Samuel Martin was born September 10, 1925, to his parents in Snyder, Texas, and he passed away November 14, 2014, in Ozark, Arkansas, at the age of 89. He was a Postman and Letter Carrier, an Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion, and served on the Ludwig Water Board.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Newton and Lugania Lee Hogan Martin; a son, Paul Edward Martin; four brothers: Harlis, Johnny, Leard, and Carlos Martin; and a sister, Mamie Martin Jones.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Marcie Matthews Martin of Clarksville; a daughter, Beverly Ann Martin of Clarksville; a sister, Marilyn Martin Avilla of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one grandchild, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014, at the Clarksville Church of Christ in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Kenneth Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Mitchell, Marc Muncy, Keith Dooley, Darrell Plank, Larry Holman, Chadd Acord, Jeffrey Acord, Don Goodman, Junior Clark, and John Chrisman.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Son James, Elvin Brown, Duane Steele, and Fred Taylor.

Marcella “Marcie” Marie Martin was born September 29, 1927, to her parents in Minnow Creek, Arkansas, and passed away June 18, 2015, in Clarksville, Arkansas, at the age of 87. She was a homemaker and a member of Clarksville Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Samuel Martin; her parents, Stanley Blaine Matthews and Emma Pearl North Matthews; a son, Paul Edward Martin; two brothers: Jimmy and Blaine Matthews; and five sisters: Ila Ellis, Lorene Casey, Rosene Casey, Roma Bain, and Emogene Matthews.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann Martin of Clarksville; her granddaughter, Shelley Willis; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Larry Holman, Don Goodman, David Stumbaugh, Elvin Brown, Stanley Brown, Bobby Mitchell, Marc Muncy, Darrell Plank, Keith Dooley, and Junior Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Taylor, Charles Over, and John Chrisman.
