Joel William Martin, was born June 16, 1946 to the late James Frank and Nettie (Reed) Martin in Oark, Arkansas. He was a truck driver. He died May 21, 2009, at UAMS Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 62. He is precded in death by two sisters, Rose Lee Hobbs and Velma Mason; one brother, Cecil Martin.
He leaves behind two daughters, Cindy and husband, Leonard Hardgrave of Russellville, Arkansas and Lisa and husband, Tracy Nims of Gravette, Arkansas; three sisters, Lucille Willis of Knoxville, Arkansas, Betty Morse of Knoxville, Arkansas, Zelma Boen of Ozark, Arkansas; two brothers, Dale Martin of Coal Hill, Arkansas, Dorsie Martin of Springdale, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Crystal Hecht and Casondra Kraus both of Clarksville, Arkansas, Martin Nichols of Russellville, Arkansas, Austin Nims and Cody Nims both of Gravette, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 25, 2009, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksville, Arkansas. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Arkansas.
