KNOXVILLE — Howard Morgan White, 77, of Knoxville died Sunday, July 25, 1999, in a Clarksville hospital. He was an Army World War II veteran and a retired plumber.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hardwicke Funeral Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar.
He is survived by his wife, Vonnie Mae; two daughters, Dorothy Goldsmith of Clarksville and Juanita White of Coal Hill; three sons, Jimmy and Don, both of Clarksville, and Ronnie of Lamar; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Vance Goldsmith, Ronnie and Josh White, Bill Casey, Brian Clark and Don Cagle.
*Obituary - Vonnie May White
Vonnie May White was born September 12, 1923, to her parents in Batesville, Arkansas, and passed away December 5, 2015, in Clarksville, Arkansas, at the age of 92. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard White; her parents: Willard Sylvester and Gussie Baker Palmer; a son, Danny White; a daughter: Dorothy White Goldsmith; a brother, Jeff Palmer; and two sisters: Mary Lou Palmer Downs and Frankie Palmer Justis.
She is survived three sons, James, Donald, and Ronald White, all of Clarksville, Arkansas; a daughter, Juanita White Powell of Hunt, Arkansas; a sister, Ader Palmer Watkins of Judsonia, Arkansas; a brother, Ralph Palmer of Batesville, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
