James G "Jim" White, 71, of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at his residence. He was a native of Carroll County, son of the late Cecil Harvey and Thelma Georgia Humbard White, member of Hilldale Baptist Church, graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Boliver, Missouri, University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor of science degree, and the University of Alabama at Huntsville with a master of business administration degree. He was a consulting engineer for GEA in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and a retired Trane Company engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Walton White; 1 son, Chris White of Clarksville, Tennessee; 1 brother, Bill E (Kathy) White of Bull Shoals; one sister-in-law, Linda Johnston of Tampa, Florida; 1 brother-in-law, Mark Walton of Clarksville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
