Elvin Dale Brown was born July 5, 1941, to Earle Henry and Ada A. Robinson Brown in Harmon, Arkansas.

He passed away March 12, 2018, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 76.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, farmer, landowner, businessman.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Mathias Brown; sons, Marty and his wife, NaLisa Brown of Clarksville; Matt Brown and his wife, Kristi of Clarksville; daughter, Myra Kaye Skelton and her husband, Vernon of Springdale, Arkansas; brothers, Stan Brown of Clarksville; Richard Brown of Starkville, Mississippi; sister, Joyce Bequette and husband, Gerry of Clarksville; and his ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018, at the Clarksville Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Clarksville Church of Christ with Jake Chism officiating. Burial will follow at the Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Eli Skelton, Luke Skelton, Sam Skelton, Gabe Skelton, Nic Brown, Alec Brown, Zeac Brown, Landon Brown, Vernon Skelton, J.L. Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Frost, John Chrisman, Myron Been, Darrell Plank, Fred Taylor, Claude Woodard, M.L. Griffith.
