PETTIGREW — Dorothy Louise "Dottie" Johnson, 68, of Pettigrew died Aug. 5, 2000, at her home. She was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Galesburg, Ill., to Herman R. and Inez C. Daymude Baird. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian.

Survivors include her husband, Alvie C. Johnson of the home; one son, Bill Phillips of Davenport, Iowa; one daughter, Vicki Saiz of Fayetteville; one stepdaughter, Candis Moses of Lafayette, Calif.; one brother, Robert Baird of Largo, Fla.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Layton Porter officiating. Burial will be in Venus Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
