Bobby Glyndon Johnson, 56, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died November 26, 1997 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born July 31, 1941 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the son of Robert Glyndon and Helen Marie Withrow Johnson. He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart and attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville. He was a graduate of the Oklahoma Military Academy.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Linda Neeley Johnson of the home; three sons, Jeffery Michael Johnson of Siloam Springs, James Robert Johnson of Bentonville, and Robert McVay Johnson of Huntsville; two daughters, Kelly Lynn Johnson of Springdale, Tonya Dianne Mason, of Rogers; one step-son, Jerry D. Elmore of Dallas, Texas; his father Glyndon Johnson of Huntsville; three grandsons, Devin James Johnson of Bentonville, Hayden Lance Mason and Garrett Alexander Mason, both of Rogers, and one granddaughter, Taylor Brianne Johnson of Siloam Springs.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 29, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Tim Roberts, Jeff Roberts, O.D. Reynolds, Joe Collins, Ed Hultz and Terry Nelson. Honorary pallbearers were: Pat Engles, Mike Clifford, Rick McLoud, Dwain McLoud, Rick Sizemore, Dave Ward, Chuck Hawthorne and Jay Moffett.
