George Wayne Stewart of Springdale, Arkansas, was born February 17, 1933, in Yale, Arkansas, and passed away March 16, 2016, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 83.

He was a retired Custom Steel Manufacturer for Dimic Sheet Medal in Upland, California and a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Pauline Davis Stewart; his parents, George Washington Stewart and Sidney Susie Mayfield Stewart; a brother, Bobby Dwayne Stewart; and two sisters: Eula Mae Hill and Vickie Sue Mitchell.

He is survived by a son, Richard Wayne Stewart and wife, Diana, of Springdale, Arkansas; a daughter, Linda Sue Stewart Hatchett and husband, Douglas, of Hartman, Arkansas; seven sisters, Euca Faye Easley of Bentonville, Arkansas; Ruby Glay Morris of Ontario, California; Maudie Ray Acord, Wilma Vae Adams, and Linna Kae Cravens, all of Johnson County, Arkansas; Judy Irene Burns of Florida; and Mary Katherine Russell of Missouri; and three grandchildren: Michael Wayne Puliafico, Kimberly Ann Daywalt, and Dylan Wayne Stewart.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Yale Cemetery Church in Yale, Arkansas, with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will follow in Yale Cemetery in Yale, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Richard Stewart, Michael Puliafico, Dylan Stewart, Vance Stewart, and John Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be J.C. Hill, Dan Wilson, and Douglas Hatchett

Pauline Stewart, 73, of Springdale, formerly of Oark, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at her home in Springdale. Born Saturday, August 13, 1938 to Robert and Opal (Young) Davis in Limestone, Arkansas; she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years: George Stewart of the home; one son: Richard (Diana) Stewart, Springdale, AR; one daughter: Linda (Doug) Hatchett, Clarksville, AR; three grandchildren; mother: Opal Young Davis, Springdale, AR; one brother: Billy Davis, Springdale, AR; four sisters: Eylene Litterill, Springdale, AR; Anita Gibson and Lorretta King both of California; and Freda Poplin of Kansas. She is preceded in death by her father and one brother: Arvle Davis.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Thursday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2011. Reverend Amos Pledger will officiate. Pallbearers will be family members. Burial will be in Yale Cemetery, Yale, Arkansas. Roller-Cox Funeral Home is in charge of services.
