Daniel Lee Stewart, 28, of Lamar died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at The Narrows on Little Piney Creek near Hagarville.
He was a native of Ozark, member of the Johnson County Catfish Club, North American Hunting Club and National Rifle Association, carpenter, and was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Travis Askins.
Survivors include his wife, Dovie Diane Cowell Stewart; one daughter, Katessa Lee Cagle of Spiro, Okla.; parents, Stewart and Rebecca Askins Thomas of Ozark; maternal grandmother, Bobbie Askins of Ozark; paternal grandmother, Mary F. Thomas of Clarksville; one sister, Eboni Hern of Hartman; and one brother, Nick Stewart of Ozark.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Liberty Hill Cemetery at Hunt.
