Leta Marie Daugherty Yates was born on November 24, 1939 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Fred Alfred Daugherty and Nora Ellen Ensley Hiett.
She passed away on August 14, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 81. She worked at the Clarksville Shoe Plant and was a member of Fernwood Assembly of God Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reece Lee Yates; her son, Kenneth Wayne Yates; her brother, James Alfred Daugherty.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Lee Yates and Joe Yates; her 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
An open viewing will be held during business hours at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Yale Cemetery in Yale, Arkansas with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Pallbearers are Jeremy Parker, Kevin Yates, Joey Yates, Charlie Yates,
Paul Kendall, Kaleb Cooper, Casey Cummins, and Jay Lee.
