Beverly Lenora Gowen, 56, of Cabot, passed away on Friday, March 6. She was born on April 20, 1958 to the late Joel David and Eula Chase Payne. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren. She was the kindest person who always helped those around her. She attended the Assembly of God Church and leaned on her strong Christian faith. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Joel Steven Payne and Terry Payne. Beverly is survived by her husband, David Gowen of Cabot; 3 children, Tonia and husband Aaron Blackerby of Little Rock, Tim Samuels and wife Trina of Conway, Christy and husband Joseph Sheldon of Cabot; 9 grandchildren, Jade McNeely, Austin Blackerby, Aven Blackerby, Bethany Samuels, Page Samuels, Cody Long, Shelby Long, Christian Gowen, and William Sheldon; 2 brothers, David Payne and wife Tina of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Michael Payne of Cambridge, OH; and sister Judy and husband Ronnie Cummings of McRae. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Beebe. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, also at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
