Mr. Kenneth Gean Daniels Collins, 54, of Tucson, AZ, died Monday, December 15, 2009, at his residence in Tucson, AZ. He was a native of Hamburg, but a resident of Tucson for the past 22 years. He was employed by a motor transport service at David Monthon Airforce base in Tucson, AZ, he was a member of the A.M.E. Methodist faith, a retired staff sergeant of the U.S. Marine Corps, and a 1974 graduate of Hamburg High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Collins, two brothers; Michael Collins and Johnny Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rosalie Curiel Collins, two sons; Edward Young & wife, Sonedia, of Santa Ana, CA, and Kenneth Elijah Collins of Irvin, CA, two daughters; Sarie Waldrup and Johannah Collins, both of Tucson, AZ, his mother, Nadine Collins of Hamburg, AR, two brothers; Woody Collins & wife, Fannie, of Hamburg, AR, and Jerry Collins of Crossett, AR, three sisters; Joyce Ann Collins, Cynthia Collins, both of Little Rock, AR, and Georgia Collins-Cheadle & husband, Don, of Dallas, TX, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services are Wednesday, December 23, 11 a.m. at Soldiers Chapel A.M.E. with Rev. Gwan Hammick. Pallbearers are John Ware, Earl Jacob, Letell Jenkins, Bobby Hubbard, Kenneth Burns, and Rick Daniels. Honorary pallbearers are Hamburg High School Class of 1974. Burial will follow at Norris Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc, in Hamburg.
