HUNTSVILLE — Letha Maye Swearengin, 88, of Huntsville died Dec. 30, 2004, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born May 31, 1916, at Purdy to Jim and Surelela Couran Davis. She was a farmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Ellis Swearengin in 1986; one daughter, Wilma Jean Swearengin in 1996.
Survivors include one son, Ragil Swearengin of Wenatchee, Wash.; five grandsons, Jeffrey Sell of Huntsville, Craig Williams of Saint Paul, Jerad Swearengin of Fayetteville, Jeremy Andreas of Wenatchee, Wash., and Michael Swearengin of Alma; one granddaughter, Misty Swearengin-Coger of Fayetteville; four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Layton Porter officiating. Burial will be in the Venus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Paul Swearengin, Jerad Swearengin, Craig Williams, J.P. Brandenburg, Brandon Smith and Eugene Phillips.
