Mrs. Ida Florence Swearengin, 81, of Westville, Oklahoma, died April 18 in a Siloam Springs Hospital. Born March 30, 1892 at Boston, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Moses and Polly Ann McLead Woodward, and was a Baptist. Her husband, Joe Swearingin, preceded her in death July 31, 1951.
Survivors are two sons, Mark of Huntsville, and Gussie of Witter; one brother, John Woodward of Stilwell, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Floyd Spurlock officiating.
Burial was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of the Brahears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Hershell and Theodore Johnson, Theodore Woodward, Vester Bowman, Everett Maggard and Burley Lewis.
