When Glenn Sublett Baker was born on January 3, 1913, in Faulkner, Arkansas, his father, Benjamin, was 33 and his mother, Lucy, was 27. He married Jewel Reynolds and they had two children together. He then married Fay Belle Joslin in 1940 in Arkansas. He died on February 24, 1966, in Arkansas at the age of 53, and was buried in his hometown.
