Elfleta Spears Baker, 88 of Conway, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. Born in Greenbrier on May 23, 1922, she was a daughter to the late Thomas L. Spears, Sr. and Ollie Fielder Spears. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy. Elfleta retired from Wal-Mart after 22 years of service. Her husband Charles Lee Baker, brother T.L. Spears, Jr. and sister Avanelle Spears, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter Marilyn Story of Conway; grandchildren: Justin Story and Tara Story May; great grandchildren Carter and Gracen May; sisters Martha Barton and Barbara Hooten; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
Graveside services, under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 19, at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, with Bro. Ed Stephenson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 18. at the funeral home in Conway.
