Opal Irene McCormick, age 84, of Ozark, Arkansas died Thursday, June 24, 2021. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ozark. She was born, June 30, 1936 in Lecompte, Louisiana to Benjamin "B.E." and Etta Wilson McCann. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Eldridge, Ray and Wayne McCann; and one sister, Edith McCann Jowers, all of Louisiana.
Opal is survived by her husband, Jack McCormick; two sons, Barry McCormick and wife Sheila of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Ken McCormick and wife Terri of Montana; and three grandchildren, Sean, Ethan, and Aaron McCormick.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street, Ozark.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 28, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Ozark with Brother Ben Larimore and Brother Ted Darling officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Cemetery.
